Renner Design Group, LLC is an organization built on decades of experience in the construction industry. It is the construction "know how" of our team that brings exceptional knowledge and value to every project we work on. 

Rodney Renner is the Principal and founder of Renner Design Group. Mr. Renner is a fourth generation builder and studied engineering at Southern Illinois Unsiversity.

 

With a broad background of residential and commercial projects in his portfolio of work Mr. Renner brings a wealth of experience in almost every project type and on projects that exceed $100 million dollars in value. Mr. Renner brings his knowledge of constructibilty to every project in the cost modeling and estimating stage of a project. The in depth knowledge of construction and the costs associated with each stage of construction are brought to bear in determining budgets and finalizing project costs to assure owners that a project can be executed without overruns. 

 

As a leader to the organization he provides direction to every member of the project team so standards of quality and integrity are maintained on every project. 

Scott has broad experience providing architectural services for outstanding projects and clients with an organized delivery approach for the management of architecture process that instills design vision with technical expertise from early concepts through construction to insure clients receive the best possible professional services. Scott directs collaborative processes for delivering corporate, commercial and institutional projects that successfully integrates innovation with pragmatic requirements for projects that involve new construction, renovations or adaptive re‐use projects.

 

Principal experience features a holistic approach to Architecture and Interior Design that combines interdisciplinary team work and consultant's knowledge. Versatility in design approaches from traditional to specific aesthetics exemplifies keen ability to listen client’s interest and create solutions formed from the client’s objectives. These characteristics are bonded with a passion to search for new results, and anchored with experience with cost effective and constructible leading‐edge solutions that are a major component of his commitment to comprehensive client services in architectural solutions.

 

Scott's work includes designs that have been at the forefront of innovative facility solutions for Fortune 500 companies including Ericsson, Office Depot, Southern Progress Corporation, Nortel Network and higher education institutions throughout the US Southeastern region.

Ian Jones joined the firm in 2011 as one of the first employees and has a degree in Architecture from Auburn University. As a registered architect and our chief on staff architect Mr. Jones is responsible for the design integrity on every project done by Renner Design Group. 

 

As the design leader, Mr. Jones provides direction in regards to all aspects of the design of a project and assures that each job is designed to withstand the elements as well as the tests of time and provide long lasting value to the client. 

 

Ian also is responsible for the expediting and permitting of projects in the City of Atlanta on behalf of our clients. He is very familiar with both the staff and the permitting process and works diligently to make sure that all initial submittals for processing meet all current requirements by each individual department at the planning and zoning department.

 

Ian is an invaluable part of the Renner team and brings great value to every project and client. 

Daniel Van Briesen is a degreed Civil Engineer from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. His education along with his background on a variety of project types makes him a invaluable asset to have on any project.

 

Along with  his duties of design in Auto CAD Daniel also performs structural calculations and design, hydraulic calculations, shop drawing and detailing, as-built drawing creation and the creation of in-field modification drawings.
